+FLEX
EPR / CSP COIL LEAD to BS 6195, TYPE 4, HOFR
Application:
This range of affordable, double insulated, Type 4C cables is
specifically designed for:
Terminating: directly onto coil windings on electrical motors
and generators.
Site power distribution: under harsh environments where flexibility
and mechanical strength is required.
Power interconnections: between motor starters, rectifiers, controllers,
load bank hook-ups, electrical control panels etc.
Use
in confined spaces where a high level of flexibility and ease
of handling is paramount.
Permanent
or temporary power distribution purposes on site particularly
when harsh and unfriendly environments are likely to be encountered.
Key
Features:
Flexibility.
The elastomeric properties of the insulation material, coupled with
the use of tinned copper conductors make +FLEX
cable
very pliable – far less rigid than equivalent tri-rated cable but
with the added benefit of double insulation and a robust outer sheath.
This makes +FLEX
ideal for:
Double
Insulation. The insulation does not support combustion and has
good mechanical properties and anti-abrasion characteristics. +FLEX
is resistant to heat and oil and other common solvents.
Voltage
Category. The standard product supplied is 0.6 –1kV rated but
11kV cable is also available.
Cable Specification:
Conductors:
Tinned Annealed Copper. EPR / CSP Insulated (Heat and Oil Resistant,
Flame Retardant) with a maximum conductor operating temperature
of +90 degrees celsius.
Size
Range: From 1.5mm2 to 400mm2
(30 to 1085 Amps) in 17 steps.
